I think that some of you know this, but I think that the FD RX-7 is ugly. But the FC is a great design.

It used to be FD above everything, but the FC is slowly clawing it’s way up the want list.

At first I thought you were saying the FC is ugly. Opinions on this seem to depend on when you started loving cars. I started loving cars in the 80s so I gravitate towards the FCs, whereas the younger generation is mildly obsessed with the way the FD looks. I’ll take one of each please!

I think the FD looks OK, but the FC is where it’s at.

I agree. Although, I think the rotary was a fantastic idea that had potential to be a game changer...but in the real world, it sucks.

Haha, but that doesn’t keep me from wanting one. There was a 20,000 twin-turbo FD in my neighborhood Craigslistings and ooh did I want to test-drive it. I think that a TT FD is the epitome of endless cash trash-hole though.

I love the FC’s 90s wedge-edge looks. This freshly-imported one would have all my monies if I wasn’t a poor college student...or if it wasn’t already sold.

I have thought about wanting the convertible version with a LS-swap for ultimate “Miata’s bigger brother” cruising.

Same here.... or curses. I was born in the early 80s but developed an early love for cars. A friend of mine who didn’t develop that interest until later in life, but was born in the same year, grew up absolutely obsessed with the FD looks and thinks FCs are ugly. Go figure. He also thinks Lotus Elises are better looking cars than the NSX... so he may just prefer curvy to sharp and angular.

They’re far from ugly, but I’d say the same for the FD. The whole thing sits soooo low; my theory is it’s hard to have an ugly car that can fit under a parking gate.
